Nah...that would be kinda...well, boring. If they're using the exact same shuttle then wheres the diversity? There's gotta be some sort of shuttle that the rebels used to fight imperial shuttles.

Probably. Most shuttles had at least SOME kind of weapons, but a few didn't.
