The ATR is a great ship, and would be awesome to have in space maps featuring boarding, but it's a good deal heavier than the Lambda, so I don't know.

C'mon now not EVERYTHING has to be 100% lore accurate, I mean, it's not like this is a WW2 mod where everything has be accurate to a tee or some group of fanatical grognards will be like, "OMG THIS CUPOLA OPENING SHOULD BE 1.2CM SMALLER"

I'm not talking about lore, I'm talking about balance. The ATR is a heavy assault craft, the lambda is little more than an armed personnel carrier.

then perhaps the imps need a different shuttle.

but anyway the military version had 10 laser canons which is pretty good, and the wiki says it was very heavily armoured. More likely the lambda is more powerful

the sentinel class is quite close to the lambda. we could use the lambda for both sides but thats rather boring.

shuttle enterprise with all these missing heat tiles and stuff ...  steep glide , carries buncha troops and spawns on a one way trip to the surface .

The Sentinel is a good one, a nice break from the belief that the Lambda shuttle is a troop transport, where in fact it is a utility shuttle (Albeit a well armed one). Lambdas would such be more suited for carrying supplies, spare parts and in some cases, one or two sith lords lying around.

couldnt we use a number of different transports. the rebels just got what they could so i doubt they had the same for every battle
