Hey, I'm not saying the A-10 is ugly, or a bad vehicle. I'm just saying that I wouldn't take a bullom-headed giant mutant baby ba*d child of an A-10 and an X-wing to the prom.

No worries, man. I didn't mean to imply that. ;-) Just wanted to mention my thoughts on that kick @ss aircraft and forgot the context of my reply. lol Sorry for the misunderstanding.

K-wing yea, but not for Civil War Era.

The E-Wing was a starfighter introduced to the rebellion fleet around the same time as the K-Wing, maybe a little earlier. The E-Wing had a rough start due to weapons problems and droid compatability, but those got solved later on and the E-Wing became an elite starfighter in the fleet.
The K-Wing was pretty much a scaled up, heavy hitting Y-Wing, made by the same manufacturer.
It could carry huge amounts of heavy weapons, could fly as fast as the Y-Wing even though it was bigger, and it's cockpit detaches as an escape pod. It has no hyperdrive so it has to be carried on a large ship. It has a laser turret and a turbolaser on the cockpit to defend against fighter attacks.

I love the A-10, it's one of my favorite real world attack planes, and having seen one in action tearing up a tank on a airbase testing field you gotta love that sucker. But I'm sorry, that K-Wing is Uuuuugly!

Meh, I bet its cause I havent read any of the books past the X-wing series... Which rocks btw.
