secondly,  the concept of a "gaming laptop" is quite a paradox of terminology.
Its like calling something an " ultra high performance motor home."
You are actually limited by the graphics card not being able to upgrade, more than a lack of processors that will even work on that system.

My laptop runs any game on max settings with 0 lag. These games include cod4, medieval 2 total war, battlefield series, half life 2 and ep 1-2, moh airborne and probably more that I cant think of. Also I have updraded my laptop once.

It is an Alienware laptop and i'm pretty sure the motherboard is removable.  I'd want to upgrade to a 2.44ghz or so processor, how much do you think that would cost, and would i send it to Alienware to do that job?

Ask Alienware.
Seriously, without ProcessorType, Socket, GPU (nvidea 7950 ???) and motherboard-producer we can't tell you anything.

Maybe CPU-Z or SiSoftSandra can tell your more about your motherboard and socket, but Alienware knows it best.

Stupid and Silly Question:
Did you use a PSU while Playing CoD, and how much current / power has it ?

Most Laptops lower the CPUs Clock if they don't get enought power, maybe a stronger PSU is the cheapest solution.
Hell, even cleaning the Laptop from Dust or using a special racket for the laptop is sometimes a big help, because dirty Heatsinks an bad airflow in the case can also drastically reduce the gaming power.
