Topic: Modified game content?

When i try to join a first stike server, it boots me out after a full load saying "2142 doesn't allow modified content" or something like that, although i get into normal 2142 servers ok no probs.

i installed the one full 1.40 patch not the 1.25 then 1.25 to 1.40 patch

I have the same problem, however several servers works just fine. I'm using bf2142 1.40.

make sure you have FS 1.1 installed and check if you have same mod and same version in your parameters...

I had that before. i just re installed 1.1

I'm not certain but I believe that you have to have patched with 1.25 and 1.4

dont need to patch since the 1.25, just 1.4. but make sure it was the last patch 1.4 from EA. it have several versions which circulated, the 'modified content error' perhaps comes from there.
