It worked and played alittle and Im very happy I did great game nice graphics I just wish that there where more peps playing I have about 10 servers and got on a map that had 6-7 playing all other server 0.

i got a problem
Installed FS 1.1
There werent any ranked servers (i guess thats ok though), got in one running server, played a bit.

Now there was a server map or server that couldnt let me in. it poped a window with some jibberish on it and it sent me at a website about BF2 custom maps. What was that about?

After disconnecting i tried playing singleplayer. It crashed after I pressed Deploy and now I cant join any servers FS and regular BF2142. It freezes after I press Join.
Any suggestions?

there are no ranked servers at the moment

the server you tried to join was the first strike testing server which normal player cannot get into

and normal first strike does not support single player. Download the single player mini mod which has a sticky in the main forum.

You probably installed the patches incorrectly. Look for the correct order in these forums, it's in muliple threads...

HELP - I have done everything the manual says.  I start the game and it comes up with OLD CLIENT - Your Client is an older version than the server.

I have BF2142 patched to 1.25

First Strike patched to HOTFIX 1.25.  Is there anything else i need loaded?


I am so keen to play this mod
