Topic: Problems...please help..

After installing the mod, I noticed that I was "overupdated" so to speak. Not wanting to revert my copy, I figured I'd wait until a version came out that supported 1.4, so I uninstalled the mod.
Now, whenever I load up (default) 2142 and start a game, all the textures and objects are black.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and nothing has changed.
What is happening, and how can I fix it?

First Strike works fine with 1.4

It sounds as if you screwed up something big time though, probably need to re-install.

Look EA's support site for details on how to completely remove all assets for 2142 before you rtry another reinstall

It was not the mod that caused this, as far as I know, nobody has ever reported something such as this so its probably your own doing.

be sure to install the mod in the proper place.
did 2142 work before? ifso, try deleting the cache files in /my files/battlefield 2142 or something.
reinstalling 2142 could help to.
