As for the escort shuttle, i like that, it seems like a pretty cool vehicle to use, but the only problem is, how would you balance it with the imperials? Lambda vs. Improved Lambda, it doesn't exactly seem like a fair fight, especially when one was intentionally made to be an improved version of the lambda design.

Well, the Lambda is more of a courier/cargo shuttle with weapons for self-defence, while the JV-7 is a combat craft with combat as its primary role. Tt's not really an 'improved' design as much as a design to fit a different role.

Though I must admit, it was sort of fun dogfighting Lambdas in TIE Fighter cool .
