Topic: More FS vids

Put together another video using Fraps footage, it's all space combat but theres another vid on my profile of XvT,XWA and FS footage. In the next few days I'll be putting together a ground assault vid. Hope you all enjoy!

One minute in so far...  Good music, not enough barrel rolls, and a retarded (and dead) X-Wing pilot.

Jousting with an enemy fighter...  Got some balls, I just avoid them and then slip in behind once they pass  For me, a kill is not worth it if I'm going to damage my fighter.

I'm guessing from the stable flight pattern you use a mouse, don't seem to spin much...  Or you just have an insensitive joystick.

You've got some pretty good, aim.  I sacrifice my accuracy for manueverability with the joystick...

I get a lot of kills head on, I also die a few times. I got a pretty decent aim and a steady hand which helps. One game I came away with 17 kills and 3 deaths, all in fighters. But thanks for the feedback. I'll try to do some more rolls for you in my next space vid wink

Unless of course 1.2 is out in which case who knows what will be in there smile

I use a stick. It is sensitive but after four or five years of almost nightly XvT and XWA online flying I can keep it pretty solid in a line.

Years of Freespace and I still haven't gotten the aim down.  Especially with First Strike's invul. glitch, which makes it that much harder.  Accuracy is my weakness, makes me have to take my time, usually which involves me overcorrecting or my target veering off in another direction.  Never had much time to keep steady in Freespace anyways, which is why I like the long, relaxed missions (Such as the one in my sig.  Well, it's not all that relaxed...).  Something different.

Thats not too bad, music didn't really match the mood. But still not too bad, nice
dog fights in some parts of it.
