Those Taloraan battles were just awesome
.
In the first one, I got in a Carrack and formed up with the Bulk Freighter, and got over to the one active Lancer in the NE. When we met the enemy fleet, though, the Bulk Freighter didn't stay behind, so I failed to cover her, which resulted in her destruction. In trying to reach her, I got too close to the Rebel fleet and was destroyed too, followed by the Lancer, I seem to recall. The last Lancer, which had stayed behind, remained near the staging area. At this point the Rebels had lost their freighter and their fleet was breaking up, with two corvettes splitting up and making an attack run on the Lancer while the Frigate seemed to stay behind. With two corvettes and a swarm of fighters going at the Lancer, I seem to recall we lost that one. One Hell of a scene, though, lasers everywhere and cap ships duking it out.
In the second round, I got in the Gallofree with Omen and we and the two corvettes formed up, with the Gallofree in the centre, waiting for people to spawn on our ships. However, someone had suicided out of the frigate, which couldn't be manned, so we ended up sitting there waiting for it to be manned for the rest of the round, forcing the Imperial fleet to come to us... which resulted in her destruction.
Please, guys, don't suicide out of a cap ship. If you're not ready to sit in one, don't spawn in one!
Good rounds regardless
