Topic: Fighter capabilities

Is it possible to limit the negative stick input by half ? The idea behind that is to improve the dogfights in space. Pulling  +9 G is ok, we don't have blackouts yet wink but pushing -9 G would certainly kill you. If implemented it would force players to "roll" in the right direction and "pull" the stick instead of just moving the cursor in the direction of the enemy and it makes the next move of your opponent more predictable. Pilots would either move/bank to the left or right and/or combine it with a steep upwards turn, like in reality. I guess it would make dogfighting more challenging, well, if the engine allows it.

Sorry, perhaps I'm being thick but er...how would you pull G in a zero g enviroment?

Pulling G has nothing to do with gravity.
It is a function of an objects resistance to change speed/direction.
Ask Newton for further details.

Re: Fighter capabilities

An all space server is up and running as of last night and of course is a big draw for pilots. I enjoyed the dogfights and have some new respect for a number of quality pilots out there.

Many of the dogfights last night were very tough, tense and totally immersive. I would hate to see any changes regarding physics as everthing appears to be very well balanced at the moment.

I think you are referring to 'inertia'
