I'd like to start the ball rolling by asking how difficult was it to get the AT-ST working in game. As the vanilla 2142 has a walker was it a simple conversion process or did it have to be completely reworked
I know Hoth has been talked about with working AT-AT's. Any progress?
Since I coded 90% of it I feel comfotable in saying , it wasn't easy. Even though vanilla has walkers they are a different size, have a different amount of moving parts, a different skeleton, a somewhat hardcoded mech system and quite frankly alot of new features non of us were familiar with. It took 4 people to work on this in total.
Luuri-Modeling/texturing and rigging
GD-Initial research
Woody-Assisting with some coding issues
Blitz-Balance of the work with exporting and coding.
It took 2 months and over 50 different export files.
As far as the ATAT goes, I have it in game and moving around, after 1.2 I will spend most of my tme completing it
Hope that answers ur questions
