LMFAO! lol

Man, those months Blitz and I spent on MSN attempting to break the engine were a nightmare.

I noticed a tree disappeared in one of the videos.

Great post Woodrow.  Interesting to see how far things have come.

Re: Ask the Devs a question

Here are the first ever pictures Mos Espa:

http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b54/General_UnCo/InEditor2.jpg
Mos Espa was originally set at sunset, every build people would complain it was took dark or too light. In the end it was decided that a day map looked nicer (especially with the hideous sky texture in the pictures).

First Strikes; first ever space map:
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b54/General_UnCo/spaceworks.jpg
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b54/General_UnCo/sapce4.jpg
I made this prototype roughly between paragraphs 1 and 2 of Woodies history, At this stage there was no testing builds so an AAS and F/A-18s had to fill in, for a cap ship and fighters.

Concept for a sniper tree, by Myself and Golden Dragon:
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b54/General_UnCo/SniperTree.jpg
There is a climbable vine just out of shot that allows the player acess to the branch.

The first ever First Strike build for BF2 'twas the best birthday present ever: (Myself, Rybot and bandu had quite a pool party at the ewok tree village that day)
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b54/General_UnCo/dinnertime.jpg
You always wish you took more photos tongue. I spent most of the day hanging out in the ewok, tree/water village. I couldn't get over how good endor looked in bf2. I miss it sad.

First Strikes Bronze Spanner, for 3rd most anticipated mod of 06:
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b54/General_UnCo/t_1511.gif
We were all incredibly proud to see FS get into the top 100 mods, but to get 3rd after some big name mods was truely something.

Mos Espa progresses a little more:
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b54/General_UnCo/UnCosFinalME1.jpg
Mos espa now has more than 2 buildings the sky has become more realistic and the buildings now have placeholder textures.

Mos Espa days before release:

Naturally FS decided to release during Australian exam time so I had to let Guybrush finish it for me, the map was basically finished aside from tweaking, which when you are talking about around 1,400 buildings (The largest battlefield city ever, in comparison Karakand which has 50) this was how it looked when I handed it over to guy before blitz tweaked the lighting.

Re: Ask the Devs a question

I actually really like that menu design.  That's pretty rad.
