My in-game name is DataGeneral, we were on the server together last night. My ping time to the DS server is pretty bad from Malaysia ( about 250) but the mod ran smoothly for hours, more stable than the vanilla game IMO (compared to the servers I usually find out this way, where I can expect a dropped connection every couple of rounds or so.)

Thanks - it seems I was fortunate to encounter the big weekly session, which was a hoot. My ping wasn't too much of a hinderence - one of the good things about BF-style games is that there's usually something you can do that doesn't require lightening reflexes and a ping of 20 - the big guns on the capital ships for example.
