Re: Love/hate?

You still don't know me Angel.

Two Wookie blades in each hands, each are throwable, and I have infinite ammo for thems. I can stab or throw. I got a jetpack, and a Boba-fett mask, that isn't really a weapon but a toy : Every time I "shoot" it says something : "I meant it ! " "BA-BOOOOM ! " "Boba's got a lightsaber !" Etc, etc.

Re: Love/hate?

Love

- Star Wars feeling is captured so darn well into a game
- Only SW game I really enjoy these days, aside now and then SWGB with my nephew
- Epic gameplay and endless action
- AT-ST's and the medic class

Hate

- Myself for not playing more often
- Low count of players

Improve

- I should join those community games sometime smile

Re: Love/hate?

If that is all you hate then you certainly should. Will make you a happy love filled little First Strike player.

Re: Love/hate?

love:

-STAR WARS!!! nuff said
-Team play + community, the best I've ever played, you guys are awesome
-Diversity of classes/weapons, each one has a role and they work together very well
-Space maps! I love the fighters, the best space combat I have played.  Feels exactly like a star wars battle should
-The stormtroopers models are brilliantly made and done, I think they look better than most official star wars games
-Being just a run-of-the-mill soldier NO JEDI
-The idle trooper chatter
-Proximity mines, so much fun
-Community games, I look forward to them every week!

dislike

-Speeders can fly way too high
-On Ryloth the skyhopper just feels useless
-The heavy repeating rifle is just way way too inaccurate to even lay down good suppressing fire
-Lambda shuttle needs a better way of landing, it takes a lot of concentration just to get to the right place for landing, which is more realistic I guess
- I have vista = suck

Keep up the good work guys

Re: Love/hate?

Glavinite, you're my enemy ! Speeders do fly high in Star Wars ! At least they can ! You are in the too-much-filled-team-against-speeders ! It's because of you that Tatooine Mo Espa is boring now ! Cause all servers use 32 version, they don't want 64 cause of speeders !

Blame you !

Re: Love/hate?

Speeders do fly much too high! show me anywhere in the films they reach the altitude they do in game. And as for 64 Espa I think thats reduced because of the low player count, 3 walkers and less than 20 players = no fun

Re: Love/hate?

If you watch Jedi again you'll see that when Leia dives towards an unsuspecting Biker Scout she does so from some altitude. Also there are stats which state that Speederbikes such as the Aratech 74-Z favoured by the Empire have a flight ceiling of 25 meters, so our versions may go a little higher than that but the vehicles are not meant to be as land locked as you might suspect.

Maybe we could look at somehow limiting the craft to a flight ceiling of that height if it is indeed possible within the game engine to do so, but I wouldn't be in favour of completely limiting it to the ground like say a Landspeeder.
