Hi gents. Me again.

Ok, got everything up and running per Gwynzer’s step by step.  Unfortunately I only see one Wolfgaming.net server (that gives me ~150 latency or so), and this server won’t let me on. It gives me the “unmodified content” message.

What should I do?

Okay, after reading through Gwynzer's self-help thread here:

I'm finding that none of it seems to apply directly to me.  I'm wondering if I should just reinstall FS. I'm open to suggestions though, b/c these are fresh installs and shouldn't be experiencing any trouble.

Hello, last time I played FS was at first release. Now I installed new version but ingame browser doesn't find any servers....??? sad

I am guessing you have an NVidia Graphics card and are running Vista.

Go into your settings and DISABLE Anti Aliasing.  If you wish to have it enabled, force it through NVIDIA control panel.

Damn Nvidia control panel won't let me force AA in BF2 or BF2142. sad

Right click on desktop -> Nvidia Control Panel

(this point on is in "Advanced" view)

3D settings -> Manage 3D settings -> Program Settings.

Browse to find "FirstStrike.exe", force AA on in the options ocne you have it selected.  Hit apply, you're done.
