for the atat you shold make them possible to board, o you could like kill the crew members and take it for yourself, that would be cool, or some kindof capital ship boarding, thats what i miss outta the mod that vanilla has, boarding parties

How can you board an at-at?

Indeed. I never though about it until i played FS... why was a pilot carrying both a magnetic grappling hook and a proton grenade?
Pilots have strict weight limits on what they can carry iirc, and are usually limited to a pistol (thus DL44)

I've thought about that too, and I think the answer is that Luke was carrying the thermal detonator, and as for the magnetic grappling hook... he grabbed the tow cable from the back of his ruined speeder (it looked like the AT-AT's foot missed the very back of the speeder).

A pistol may take up a pilots weight limit but Luke dosn't use a pistol dose he? a thermal detonater and a lightsaber may also reach the wieght limit, And I agree that the grapple was probably from some sort of survival kit. why the grapple was in a survival kit I wouldn't know... maybe to latch onto a ship in place of escape pods?

on another note the AT-AT transports being used for a titan mode would be an awsome idea but what would the rebel titan be? maybe a calamari light cruiser seen in EAW... its the only mon calamari ship smaller than ackbars!

P.S. I think its funny that over half the people listed as "Emperors Royal Guard" are either named after or have avatars of rebel characters.

Another idea on Commander:
-Ion Cannon- A disabling beam of energy to disable the weapons and shields of a Star Destroyer.
-Particle Cannon- Call in a destructive beam of energy to rip into the systems of a rebel capital ship.

Ther deffinatly needs to be some way to nuke from orbit for both space and ground battles... It's the only way to be sure tongue

Re: Commander Deployables

Whatever it was I doubt it could have made the at-at's head explode.

I always thought it set off a chain reaction (SW is good at those) by igniting explosives and whatnot within the walker. SW reactors, unlike real-life counterparts, are incredibly explosive, too, so maybe the AT-AT had a miniature nuclear power plant in her innards somewhere and that, too, got set off.

Stop reviving dead threads, unless you can actually implement some of these ideas, of course.
