Re: Clone Wars TV Series
Aye, was a good first season, was off sick with a cold earlier in the week and watched the last 10 episodes of the series back to back (had saved them on my Sky+ box), and watching them all together I felt that yeah, the series as a whole was pretty good, I feel after watching the last 10 that the first half of the series was stronger apart from the Ryloth trilogy which really shone brightly in the second half.
I liked Bane myself (and have to disagree, Grevious wouldn't have fitted in the role due to the underworld nature of the scenario, plus we see him invade the Senate in the closing scenes/opening scenes of Clone Wars/Episode 3), I think Bane's character can go interesting places, so we'll have to see where they take him in season 2.
I agree they need to make General Grevious more of a credible threat in the series, he's just not as all powerful as he seemed in the Clone Wars micro series finale, that is one thing that series has over this, they made Grievious seriously bad pie. Perhaps in season two he'll go back to the body shop and get the upgrades he needs to make his as lethal as he was in that series?
