OMG!! Twiggy said Jetpacks are fun. Holy freaking crap!

With Jetpacks for all regular soldiers (in one or two dedicated maps), the developers of First Strike actually have an opportunity to CONTRIBUTE to the expanded universe of Star Wars, instead of just being a SLAVE to what other people have written about the expanded universe.

Why limit the flight time to that severe degree? In the 1960s a turbojet pack using kerosene powered jet engines was built and it could fly for 20 minutes.

WRONG! That was the original version of the jetpack kit. In the second version, anybody could walk up to a vehicle, a tank or speederbike, and access the jetpack kit that way.
I have suggested in the past that one map, the 64p version of Null Station, have jetpacks readily available for all soldiers, not every map in First Strike.
