Well, none of that worked...BUT I changed the number in launcherversion.txt from 6 to 17 and everything works fine now! Hope to see you guys in game!

Glad to hear your sorted now and welcome aboard big_smile Please dont be put off by the lack of servers and players at the moment. We're very near to releasing version 1.5 so bear with us and soon you shuld see well populated servers again big_smile

Where I heard about FS? Thats a good question...I really can't remember seeing as I've been playing for like a year now tongue, probably ModDB though. Glad to hear 1.5 is almost out though big_smile

Hmm...it seems that installing FS brakes the punkbuster on my 2142...I tried using PBsetup and disabling my firewall but nothing helped. Anyone have any ideas? Oh, almost forgot, I'm getting the heartbeats stopped error. I've always hated punkbuster... hmm
(I didn't want to start another thread so I posted this here)

EDIT: Never mind, I joined today and everything was fine! Punkbuster isn't very reliable in when it decides to work...

Hmm. I know we've been having a server move recently, so don't know if thats perhaps causing the issue. At work right now, but as soon as I can I'll see if I can sort something out for you in the meantime.

Just to check, you are using a First Strike 1.5 download and not trying to update from 1.4?
