Yeah, there is that, but the thing is with this series they seem to have captured more of the spirit of the original movie trilogy than the prequel movies ever did. Sure, there are the odd poorly judged episodes here and there, but the good does certainly outweigh the bad, and lately this show has really begun to show how interesting a place the prequel universe can be. If you like Star Wars (as I assume you do seeing where you are wink ) you could certainly do worse than to tune into The Clone Wars, I'd advise getting the boxsets and watching them in a bit of a marathon, then if an episode leaves a bad taste in your mouth don't worry about it, there will be a good one next to take it away.

There was always a touch of the "Maw" from Dark forces two about a character sustained purely by hate. It's be far more hilarious if Maul was a floating torso...

great game. good times. I remember a few times i just cheated on the end level baddy- Jerek.
I threw down tons of proxy mines in the same spot and then backed away slowly. One loud explosion and a bazzilion particles later and he collapsed.

The game touched on some clone wars issues- Definitely more than 2 Dark Jedi at a time. (not strictly sith tho)
Ideas of a force nexus- places that the force was tied to, like that one crazy planet in the clone wars.

Dark Forces 2 was and I guess it still is in my opinion one of the best SW games ever made. The cutscenes, the levels, the story, the characters and oh... OH... OOOOHHH... the multiplayer! I have a lot of great memories of that game... *happy sigh*

Anyway... newest episode of TCW. Not too shabby. We continue the story of Asajj and see a group of bounty hunters, some of the old faces such as Boba and Bossk but also a few new ones. I liked to see young Dengar in the mix too. Not a bad episode, felt a bit odd for it to be a "Clone Wars" episode but I dont mind, at least there were no uber Jedi awesomeness going on which is always a plus.

Some good action, predictable ending and alright characters (Bossk is a good selling point for me personally). Not bad, but not totally amazing either.

I thought this episode had its moments, over all it is just a filler episode but not a bad one.
Pros:
+ I really liked the nod to shadows of the empire with the Xizor inspired skyhook.
+ I liked Boba's new look, the armour and helmet definitely set him apart from is OT appearance, demonstrating that he is not the man on the executor bridge yet (Not sure if the armour causes any cannon issues with his EU appearance).
+ No Big Three, infact no Jedi at all!

Things I disliked:
- OT References - We get it the OT is awesome, you don't need to over compensate by redoing the cantina scene in the same cantina. And include yet another OT bounty hunter (Dengar).
-Why are the OT bounty hunter working together, they were clearly intended as rivals, the hunters lose alot of their badarse image when they work in packs.
- Dialogue as always was pretty poor at times
- Re-spawning Ninjas; seriously  how many ninjas attacked that train they just kept respawing over and over.
- The train action scene lasted almost the whole episode it was easy to get board of the action, it needed to be broken up by something.

I think it showed the weakness of actual hand to hand animation and sound effects, as opposed to the usual force, saber, blaster fights.
Usually you get a punch or kick thrown in between shots or saber parries and thats it.
Here they were slapping ninjas around and it just want convicingly dangerous.

Another point is the robot seemed to be the only guy with a full auto blaster. The rest were sci fi plinky pistols.
