FFS Rise of Kobol zero Grav fighting is awesome. It requires you BF players to think and learn. ouch I know that must hurt and having made the transistion from Counter Strike to BF2 ( you lot missed BF1942, come on I know you did) didn't require much grey matter did it? Ahhhh but the mods, now that is different.
Sorry if this seems like a flame but when a new mod comes out and is a little weird and people won't bother with it 'cause it's not what they expected, then the groundless criticism comes spewing forth from the arseholes of ignorance.
Yes at first the zero grav is difficult but so were the choppers in Desert Combat. The forums were alight with flames about DC choppers But in time people became great pilots and eventually the devs tweaked the flying, still maintaining the learning curve ( keeping it noob proof, i.e. new comers couldn't just fly a jet or chopper and start owning maps like we see on BF2) with a little practice you could be very effective.
Same applies here Rise of Kobol is taking BF2 away from the norm and I'm glad of that because the mods released so far are BF2 tweaked. There is nothing different happening with USI, Desert Conflict, or Peacekeeper...... same old same old.
First Strike is gonna get more flak I would expect, upon release. FS is in the great shadow of Galactic Conquest and I remeber the devs os FS claiming that their mod will be better. Good luck guys I really hope it is better than GC looking forward to it like you won't believe.
