Topic: OUTSIDE a star destroyer map
I haven't posted in a while, yes?
Whatever, I'd love to see a map where the rebels have to destroy an ISD. As far as I know you have the code for objective maps and it shoulddn't be very hard, right?
I think you get the idea, but incase you're a bloody dumbass, I'll write down ![]()
Well, My idea would be that the rebels would spawn in an asteroid similar to the one that they spawn in in the vanguard map back in GC.
The rebels, being under constant ticket-bleed will have to attack a static ISD, destroying the upper shield generators, when that's done the bottom one, and finally the command bridge. You can arrange things in an order/make things undestroyable until a certian point, right?
Anyway, the ISD would have 0.0000000000000000 playable turrets as it's just bloody boring. Instead, they have to do the good o' dogfighting to destroy the rebel scum! (Obviously the hangar would be at the bottom of the ISD)
I guess the rebels would have X-wings, Y-wings, A- and B-wings. Only one each in the hangar, as the respawn time would make a new one spaw as soon as the craft has moved away. Imps will get the Tie fighters, interceptors and a shuttle.
Sounds like fun, right? ![]()
EDIT AND SUCH:
Well, due to the "friendly" feedback on the no turrets idea, I have a different suggestion and the reason why I dislike turrets:
Back in GC, the biggest problem in the Deathstar map was that the imps would only use the turbo laser turrets cause it was easier to shoot down the rebels like that. If you ask me, it was way boring for the rebels cause you were basically powerless against them.
Other idea: how bout the ISD would only have huge, slow firing, VERY slow projectile turbolasers, that would be so nerfed up that you could only hit big'n slow stuff like blockade runners incase you can get those steerable. (Can't you script your own vehicle types?) So to take out the small craft the ties would be needed, and to take out the huge stuff turbolasers would be PERFECT.
I'm called RasdenFasden ingame.
