"Lie" is a harsh word, we never made any official release dates just ill informed estimates, until you see a release date on the homepage it is just an estimate. If you want to know the truth we have 80% of the content to release the mod. Only problem is its not textured or coded, it seems we never factored that into our original estimates; a huge blunder on our behalf. And with Sch out Lead coder out of action, it slows down the process even more. When we can get more staff in these department the mod will move forward at a more exceptable rate.
What you and many people don't seem to realise is this is a charity we put in the eforts and desire to play the game just as much as you. You have no right to ask anything of us, what we do we do because we want to you don't pay us to make this mod. We have no commitment to it, except our own personal wishes.
By the way yur post sount is 28 approximately triple what you said, plus you have been here longer then most of the team, so I would have thought you would no what you were talking about. To think you're name was on the proposed testers list a month or so ago. I doubt it will ever be there again.
I have said it before and I'll say it one last time. I was one of the few team members who didn't want to move to 2142 but I the meeting where the decision (Timezones). I would have fought tooth and nail not to change engines, but I know why the decision had to be made. The No. 1 complaint about GC was Skimming walkers, 2142 was honestly the only way to truely correct this. The amount of time we have poored into developement of walker code far outwayed the results. Not to mention several other features.
If you no longer want to follow the mod; !@#$ off. Don't flame us for a decision that is in the mods best interests. Especially when several other threads exist already on the same topic.
General Un-Co,
Signing off
