Topic: IDEA!

Factories...... I don't believe they have those in bf2......  would it be possible to make a building where EVERY vehicle/fighter/speeder for a team is spawned in different parts of the building. In bf1942, if you factory is blown your tickets go poof, not very creative I think.  This building would have everything a team needs, giving it full mobility and power.  But, if it is destroyed, they lose everything (no other vehicle spawns in the level).  This adds a great strategy to the game, if you supplies are lost you still have a small chance to blow theirs.  After both are destroyed a massive infantry battle would decide the winner. Maybe in much later releases a map like this could be made..  It's an ok idea, not my best, but o well.

I'm sure the team could do something like this, I mean since the titan deploys everything just make it so that once the Titan is destroyed the game continues until the other team is completely wiped out.

Good Idea! But you should not lose tickets if it is destroyed!
It's hard enough that your factory is destroyed big_smile:D

but yet all the opposite team needs to do is to arty(if we have arty;)) and no vehicles... bit of a disadvantage.. i like it but tbh i duno if it would add much to gameplay

yeah, on battlefront all you had to do on the hoth map was arty spam, as imps you could arty the shield and as rebels you could arty the ATAT. FS should give arty back to player vehicles like it was in GC

I like this idea. BUT, I have a change on it:

We've all seen the Titan mode now, where you have to blow up the core of the ship so the Tittan is distroyed. Keep the parts where everything is produced at this one building, but add a core to it, that when it's destroyed, the building doesn't produce anything else. BUT, don't let this end the game. The map would be just like normal with all of the flags that you have to caputre and bleed. Only if your factory is destroyed, you have to do it by foot. And for defense, have turrets outside or on the roof (I have a castle like building when I think of a factory). Put the core some where under ground or under a roof so it's only accessable by foot personel. Infact, put it all the way in the back of the factory and under ground so artillery can't effect it, and where supplie creates can entre (more on this).

So, with personal only able to attack it/defend it, let it be destroyed with C4 and/or grenades (six or seven of them). And as I said earlier, supply boxes shouldn't be allowed to reach this part of the map because one person can spam grenades (that puts alot of emphasis on the player who plays supply). Anyway, with the corridor leading to the core, have an event trigger along the path that sends a message to the defending team's HUD that says "Empire has entred Corridor NAMEHERE, Need Backup at Core!", or something similar.

I like your ideas generalandrew, only thing is..... that corridor would be claymore-whored.  I'm going to post an idea about fixing that in a min.
