My big problem with this is the fact that all of this "new content" (and there sure isn't much) was probably ready to go before the game released, and the only reason they didn't put it in the game was so they could release it later and make more money of of it.  You guys remember the Special Forces "expansion" for BF2, some of that content was supposed to be in the regular game, but mysteriously got cut, and then just "happened" to show up in an expansion.

I too can only hope that they will update the codebase, and possibly re-add some features like triggerables (one of the good things that came out of Special Forces), but I doubt that they will because I'm sure they would have mentioned something that significant in the press release.
