And the Gunboat is technically the counterpart to the B-Wing

I beg to differ, I would say that the gunboat was a bit more advanced Y-Wing counterpart, while the Missile Boat was the B-Wing equiv. of course the Missile Boat was WAAAAY overpowered, but w/e

The Gunboat and Y-Wing do have the exact same armament. I always considered them "Imperial Y-Wings".

I remember my officer harping on about how I had to first fire a missile at their turbo laser to disable it, and then fire two more at the shuttle itself, destroying it.

Good times.

And yes, I'd love to have it in First Strike. I'd freaking live in it.
Oh, and I wonder if they can fold their wings like Lambda class shuttles can. Otherwise, I don't see how you can land them. Maybe they simply use the wings as landing struts?
