maybe the 2d map can change, if u fight in space, a 2d map of the playfield in space, once on the planet, a 2d map of the playfield on the planet

However we do hope to create a smart server so that every map you play is connected. Depending on the winner of each map a corresponding one will be played. Should the rebels win on Endor; the incomplete Death Star map will be made.

So tha's probably going to be used.

I wonder what happens if the rebels fail at endor?  Rebel fleet is exterminated?

in a way its a battle based on the boarding at the begining of the movie.. yet its slightly customized as rebs can take back points and invade the ISD.. its also something im working on

ah, cool.  Like that judicator map in GC right? where you board the ISD and have to take control of it.  I can't wait to see how FS portrays the inside of an ISD.   

I was thinking, since the ISD will be static, is there anyway to make openable doors throughout the ISD.  For example, you could have a control point in a room with three entrances.  One entrance would be coming from rebel controlled sections of the ISD, and the other two would be from Imp controlled sections.  Next to each entrance would be panels that control each door.  Since the panels are inside the room, whoever is inside the room could shut all of the doors, and effectively lock everyone out.  Now, you would make these doors so that the only way to destroy them would be the C-4 type weapon.  This way, if you're anything besides the FS Spec Op equivalent, you wouldn't be able to get through, and you would have to call for backup. I think it would be cool to actually have to breach and clear rooms in an ISD.

Another thought, maybe make UAVs be those little black droids that you see in the Death Star.  Those were cool, and I'm sure they had them on ISDs.
