I played the beta, awesome! I'm so excited to play the single player.

I've been spoiled by the great single-player campaign of Empires: DOTW, so I don't expect too much from the game-play, which from what I've seen of the movies seems to be very similar to what I've seen in most RTS games. GC's campaign was good, though, so maybe I'm being too pessimistic. The plot seems incredible, too.

OK, Just thought I'd give my thoughts...I played the beta with my clan...Its over now...but I pre-ordered it...I think its an awsome game...A demo is supposed to come out sometime this month if anyone else is interested. I can't wait till it actually comes out in September...

I played the MP BETA, too. It's the best RTS I've ever played. And I got Dawn of War, Supreme Commander and Warcraft III (I don't play WC3 as much as the other games). Supreme Commander is sooo difficult in multi player if you play against a good player. Dawn of War (with both Add-Ons) is difficult, too. And a little bit unfair. And I don't like fantasy... (WC3). But WiC is very good. It makes fun, it isn't unfair, there is action at once and it's really fair. And there are no Orcs tongue

Try starcraft, age of empires, and rise of nations. Some great RTS's there.

It's not an RTS, though, it's an RTT in that you have no city-building or resource-gathering. So I don't really think they can be compared, but that's just me.

And yes, Minimi, the absence of cliché High Fantasy (Elves, Orcs, and so on) is a big plus to any game.
