Topic: My first 12 hours impression
This Mod is awesome and jaw-dropping. At first thanks for the great work. Now we have to do the final touches to it. It is very hard to want so many things after the mod was just released, but I guess you want the input from the community. This is going to become a long list, don't worry most of it is just cosmetics.
1. The game crashes randomly but too often and lags are a true pain although having a ping of 21, other mods have the same problems, so it is up to DICE i guess.
2. I know the graphics will be receiving a finishing touch, pls don't forget the naked hand texture
3. Is it possible to remove the crosshairs when in zoomed mode? Some weapon scope graphics are light green (heavy weapon) and are barely visible on Endor.
4. Pistol weapons seem to be very close to the player's eyes, they appear pretty big on screen.
5. The blaster bolt, when fired unzoomed seems to come out of the left part of the crosshairs not from the barrel of the weapon, guess its coming out of the screen's center pixel.
6. Blaster bolts look really cool but seem to vanish over time (sometimes u can see your own blaster bolts close to yourself, that's where they look most impressive sometimes u can only see them in the distance, same for space blaster bolts) maybe a 60 Hz refresh rate problem of flat screen panels.
7. The interior of the Star Destroyer is pretty dark even on medium shaders and can't we have a safer boarding bridge to the Tie-Fighters ? I guess it doesn't add much to the atmosphere to have our brave pilots falling down there.
8. The art-work of the cockpits is pretty good, hm, too good. I'd like to have them more like the cockpits of the BF2142 planes. The graphics are too detailed and crisp. In combat the cockpit lights are usually switched off, so a much darker and less detailed cockpit with a viewpoint much closer to the front window would be great. The x-wing viewpoint is to high in my opinion, you shouldn't see the nose of your spacecraft just the upper part of the front panel and the window struts, but nonetheless great art-work though.
9. The AT-ST lacks a rose which shows us the relative position of the torso in relation to the chassis.
That's all for now, hehe don't take me too serious guys. If some of the above mentioned gets done I'll be more than happy. I am already happy with the current build, take your time guys. Once again awesome job.
