If you put enough pistol rounds into the vents on the bottom of the walkers in 2142 you could take one down.

pfft...At 1 point of damage per shot with any weapons other then the Anti-Tank Weapons, you'd need alot of Ammo.

The point is that no Weapon other than super heavy rocket launchers or heavy non carryable blaster cannons can damage a AT-ST it was showen in the StarWars movies many times that all a blaster will do to a AT-AT/AT-ST is bounce off like a finch hitting a window. No dents or nothing.

Also the Rocket lacunhers and Grenade launchers need a damage boost to both vehicles and infantry. Why in gods name dose it take two shots to kill a trooper from 2 inches away with a rcoket launcher I will never understand.....

Oh? All I remember is the AT-ST blowing up in a second when another AT-ST shot at it, or, for that matter, when hit by a swinging log. Now that's heavy armour.

I think that was the point.

Even in 2142, I'm the type to just hide at the CP instead of running away (gotten me killed more then a couple times though sad ). Why should I give him a free cap just cuz' he's in a tank? If you hide instead, he's not gonna cap anything until he gets more allies in flag radius.

I like the WF system, it makes the vehicle pilots more fearful/careful.

One of the things that would always tick me off times were, say in Fall of Berlin, there was always that one APC that just ruined everyone's day for half the round.

Not anymore.


Edit: Still, AV weapons might need a buff in damage.

i always liked the apc in those maps. If people did the obvious thing and got an anti-vehicle weapon it would take a matter of seconds to kill it with team work.

I always hated the those flying anti-vehicle bombs. Its far too easy to kill a tank with those
