Topic: Respawn times...
Project Reality has really long respawn times. The result is that people hang on to their lives, instead of going kamikaze. Space battle's lack that feeling of "I gotta stay alive", so maybe the respawn times should be lengthened? It would encourage teamwork, team mates getting the enemy off your tail and all that stuff.
On the other hand the long respawn times can be frustrating and not very noob friendly.

Edit: What's wrong with you guys? I only said respawn times should be longer, nothing else. I didn't say blasters should be stronger or so anywhere. Jeez, next time try reading!
The respawn times should be longer to make sure people act less suicidal. Tell me one scene in a star wars movie where someone deliberately runs into a bunch of people only to get shot or where a guy fearlessly crashes his fighter into something on purpose. No, they never did such things. Not even the A-wing pilot crashing into the Executor did it on purpose.
They try to stay alive. This can be enforced by lengthening the respawn times. If you don't want to die, you start doing teamwork, you start communicating. People in FS don't do this, they run into the other guy's blaster and they crash their fighters right into the enemy ships JUST TO RESPAWN! The battles would be more intense, people would still be firing around, hell, they'd be much more like in the movies.
