Got it all figured out now.  Was able to actually make a small test map and get it into FS to test.

It's working now!

I had to save my map in a folder on my Desktop - And uninstall the BFeditor - And the FS-MOD.

Then I went to this page

That page is someone who actually took all the important files and created a BF2142 Editor.
So - You use he's hardwork files to create a false Editor - I think thats why it's called the un-official editor. smile

Follow he's instructions -

After that - Do what the TY2D2's First Strike Mapping Set Up Guide tutorial says - Except - now the editor is in the BF2142 folders. and not in the BF2 folders.

A few tips for you budding mappers:

- Do all of your terrian/texturing/static placing process in the editor
- Do most of the rest in the .cons (its not hard to learn).
- Bloom is needed for EVERY map. If you're unsure on how to set bloom up, simply copy over vanilla settings as a temporary measure.

To setup a pushmap you'll need to do the following:

'flagname'_pushmap_'unique id of the CP'__'Flag that wants to be cappable'_'Flag that wants to be cappable'_'Flag that wants to be cappable'

So the finished product = Docking_Bay_Pushmap_001__005_007_010
