Re: Give the Dev team some feedback on what you think makes a good map

Well let's say it is another compound being assaulted by a seperate commando team. I don't see Luke Skywalker and those bears killing AT-STs with logs on your LORE map. If you're gonna sacrifice gameplay so you can play act star wars then you will be doing it by yourself soon enough, most of us are playing this mod cuz it's a better (in most ways)/different version than vanilla, but atm Endor is a very weak map, just basically a Gibralter copy but worse.

Re: Give the Dev team some feedback on what you think makes a good map

Endor is nothing like Gibraltar in the way it plays. If you don't want lore accurate maps play SWBF or SWBF2. If you want a compound assault map in a forest MAKE IT YOURSELF. The battle of Endor is going to be changed like I said, but it WILL BE lore accurate.

Re: Give the Dev team some feedback on what you think makes a good map

I think 2 types of maps would make this mod even more steller..
1: ground maps with flying like hoth with at-ats, at-sts, snow speeders and x-wings
2: boarding maps: Flying into a Star destoyer and planing bombs like a titan  would be awesome. ohh and youd have to have mountable turrets toblow up other flying craft like xwings and ywings and such.

would it be asking to much to have 1 force sensitive person (jedi-Sith) for each side...Can be voted like commander.
over all take the best from the rouge squadron series and the battlefront series ....with a touch of jedi acedemy.......

He does have you there, TY.  Also, what is this "Rouge Squadron"?  Is that, like, the squadron that Luke and Biggs' French cousins fly for?

Dune sea. Lots of speeders, some tanks, at-sts, jawa sandcrawlers, skyhoppers, at-at's, sandskiffs, jabas sandbarge, a hidden boba fett kit that has flamethrow and jet pack big_smile,. 1 of the control points could be jabas palace just like in old GC. Thats my idea of a perfect map

Re: Give the Dev team some feedback on what you think makes a good map

I do like LORE being an important factor. I'm into it and it makes me feel like I am really in the SW universe when the maps are as close to lore as possible.

Someone made a great suggestion earlier in this thread that I would like to second ... lets get some non typical SW maps in here apart from Hoth, Tatooine, Death Star, Endor etc. like many have said, some other locals that were not featured in episodes IV-VI would be awesome like, say, Wayland, Bespin, Couresant, etc.
