I do like LORE being an important factor. I'm into it and it makes me feel like I am really in the SW universe when the maps are as close to lore as possible.

Someone made a great suggestion earlier in this thread that I would like to second ... lets get some non typical SW maps in here apart from Hoth, Tatooine, Death Star, Endor etc. like many have said, some other locals that were not featured in episodes IV-VI would be awesome like, say, Wayland, Bespin, Couresant, etc.

i belive bespin is being worked on at the moment

Bespin is the planet that houses Cloud City, is it not? Cloud City would make for a great mixed arms map with grunts in the city and pilots above.

Well let's say it is another compound being assaulted by a seperate commando team. I don't see Luke Skywalker and those bears killing AT-STs with logs on your LORE map. If you're gonna sacrifice gameplay so you can play act star wars then you will be doing it by yourself soon enough, most of us are playing this mod cuz it's a better (in most ways)/different version than vanilla, but atm Endor is a very weak map, just basically a Gibralter copy but worse.

as for endor there is always telling the story of what happened to the remaining ground troops after the shied gen was takin out. just because the dstar blew up does not mean all the fighting on endor had to of come to an end

Maybe a futuristic urban map would be cool, like somehting on Corescant or some other futuristic city landscape.

Would love to see this.

I'd love to see a Mon Calamari map.  Preferably with little Mon Calamari power boats which you could use to ram into landing Imperial Shuttles, sending them spinning and skimming across the top of the water as their crews are thrown out the open side doors.

Push mode by objective... Thats what was originally planned but postponed I think.

Like, go here destroy this and capture this to move on to this place, where you need to open this and capture that, then go here and blow this up and capture this.

Get it? tongue

Yeah, like quake wars.

Re: Give the Dev team some feedback on what you think makes a good map

More space maps!

Of course everyone wants a Death Star map, fighting along the surface, and in the trench would be cool.

As mentioned Cloud City would be a good one too, especially with a ground/flight mix.

Some different Rebel/Empire clash/dogfight maps in space, perhaps a asteroid field somewhere?
