Please also tell us what you like better - combined arms: air, infantry, tanks or strictly lore accurate maps like the current Endor and TME.

That's the dilemma. I'm frequently irritated by the number of weapons and things that weren't in the movies, but the fact remains the map would not be as fun with only the weapons in the movies.

I found a list of tanks on wookipedia http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tank_%28vehicle%29

But I must admit that there are some I would rather not see in this game, they look silly.

I fact just ignore anything introduced in a RTS game.

Re: Give the Dev team some feedback on what you think makes a good map

Another thing I'd like was maps that were connected with each others so that there was a sort of continuity. I'm not talking about the outcome of one battle affecting the next, just for maps to tie into each others the way Escape from Hoth is a follow-up of the Battle of Hoth. In addition, it'd be nice if several maps used the same setting, like the missions in TIE Fighter very often did. For example, you could have a map centered around a major Imperial fortress being attacked by the Alliance, for then to make a 'Counterattack' map in which there are craters, wrecks, major damage to the fortress, scattered bodies, and makeshift barricades and new weapon emplacements hurriedly set up the Alliance. Or you could have one mission revolve around hitting a space platform with an attack fleet and damage its defenses, for then to have the second mission revolve around the enemy evacuating the platform in the face of your second wave of attack and you trying to intercept the evacuating transport ships.

I have a cap gun but I don't paint over the orange and wave it at police. Just because they have em doesn't mean they'd be widely used.
