There is. I tested it offline while testing my joystick, and when I flew past a Carrack's engine at high speed in an X-Wing I lost 30 hit points. You just have to be really close.

hehe, my stradegy is whenever a bunch of those guys are behind us, i just go in reverse and watch the multiple explosions behind me tongue
