One of the Sniper rifle's can kill a pilot with one shot - I have don't it once (only). Was the dam map, I was on top of the crane, helicopter gunship was below me hovering but ascending (I think looking for me). I lined up on the pilot - Bang - first shot missed, lined up again - Bang - second shot hit, killed pilot, gunship crashed below smile

Does bf2 have an unlock system? I saw locked weapons when I was playing........including the p90 that I wanted to try........

Yes it does, one unlock for each class, two if you buy Special Forces.
But the unlocks come much slower than in BF2142.
Owners of SF get an extra unlock point with each rank, so many (including me) bought it just to get a few unlocks more.

If you ever get BF2, I will recommend the Point Of Existence 2 mod, many think it is better than the original game. http://www.pointofexistence.com/

Or for a different experience get Battlefield pirates.
