Yultemsee, I have no idea what is possible. That's up to the devs or whoever else is highly literate in the use of the BF2142 engine. Of course, if you are a dev, and know that this or that critical aspect of being a jedi cannot be done, or would be done poorly, then the case is closed on the matter.

Give it a rest? Yes, I have rested my case. I felt it important to go on at length merely because, due to many responses, I felt (and still feel) that my posts are not being thoroughly read and comprehended. Sadly, this is common when a reader is, from the start, biased against what the author has to say and approaches the subject matter with a closed mind, thinking only of ways to counter.

Even as of the last few posts, it's clear to me from ignorant, repetitive comments such as "if you want jedi go play Battlefront 2" that my arguments are not being read or given proper counter-arguments, let alone given consideration. In fact, my favorite maps are space maps. I don't care overmuch about jumping around with a shiny stick.

Regardless, barring more posts from others furthering the discussion on this thread, all I have to say on the matter has been said.

As for myself, I will continue to play the mod and see how things go, but again, what is sapping my interest is the lack of other players. If the devs feel that the best idea to handle this issue is to coast along and hope for the best with the new patch, that's on them. However, I can tell you, the most common complaint I here on the server from players I've not seen before is "wow, are there usually so few people on?" and I never see that person again.

Remember, what I've said is for the purpose of being proactive is filling servers. Implementing Jedi is, I'm sure, not the only means of achieving this end. However, may I suggest that you all do more than shoot down the ideas of others and start providing your own thoughts on resolving this issue...or, do you all not even consider the lack of players an issue?
