Oh, and there are actually very few threads about Jedi here. If many people wanted Jedi, I think they'd have been far more vocal about them. Look at all the threads about boarding action in space maps. That is something a lot of people obviously want.
And as for the 'revocable' thing, features aren't as revocable as you may think. I understand your point that the devs can add Jedi and Sith to lure new players into the mod, for then to remove them, hoping that the other features of FS will keep them once they're there. But if Jedi are added, things will have to be rebalanced for their inclusion. If/when Jedi are removed, everything, including the new features of the next patch, will need to be rebalanced again. And the work that goes into making a new Jedi player model, as well as his lightsabre, not to mention the coding and testing, doesn't exactly make for disposable material.
The issues will be addressed in due time, you think you are the only one who can read player counts on the server lists?
