Paint a color texture.  It looks as if you've only painted a detail texture.  The entire map needs to be covered with a detail AND color texture.  By default the brush only does detail, you'll have to click the both button to the side or just do color.

and check the colormaps in your client.zip ...

Yes, but if he had detail painted then it would show texture below him at least and be black everywhere else.. His is totally white and grey checkered... Like there is no texture there at all...

Not true.  What displays below you is a mix of detail and color texture.  If either is missing you'll get grid.

ok I fixed some things:
the wrong texture is the low detail texture wich can't been found, better graphics-->texture exists
how can I set a low-det text? In the edi I get only 2 different color-texts
Sp is not important.
The hole map is colored with color texture, but it cant been found (instead theres the default-texture) and in common_client.zip/textures/color...
are only 2 different textures. where do I find the other ones?

Make sure your files are extracted correctly if you only have 2 color textures.

The lowdetail texture is set in your editor. Click each layer then click set lowdetail or w/e it is, then click the default one. Then click generate for each layer to get the low detail texture.

Low detail texture should not cause that problem, you would see a sphere of properly textured terrain around you as low detail maps are only used in the distance.
